Do I pay you anything in advance?
You are not required to pay anything in advance. You will pay for your website once all work is completed and you are completely satisfied.
Will you register my domain name for me?
We will register your domain name for you with Infoquest. We will then allow you to take over ownership of the domain.
What is a hosting company?
A hosting company has a group of servers (high-speed computers) that will deliver your website to the Internet. Once Martin's Computer Designs completes your website it will be published from our computers to the hosting company's servers.
Will you suggest a hosting company?
We recommend that our clients use Infoquest. We have used them for years and have always found them reliable. You can visit their website at www.infoquest.com
What information do you need from me?
We will need a logo if you have one, your website content and any photos that you want in your website. Together we will decide how your pages will be laid out.
Will you make updates to my website for me?
Martin's Computer Designs is happy to update your website for you if needed for a fee. We do this for many of our clients.
Can I make updates to my website?
You can make updates to your site. It would be helpful if you let us know that you wish to do this early in the design process.
How long does it take to build a website?
Once we have received all of your text, photos and logo we can normally complete a website in 2 -- 4 weeks, depending upon the size of your website.
